Assessor Award
Aims to provide the basic knowledge required and assessment for peole working with children 0 - 16 years in childcare, care and education (not playworkers or teaching assistants). You might be working in a pre-school, playgroup, nursery or be a childminder. For NVQ we provide 12 taught sessions plus monthly support sessions but assessment is mainly focused on proving competence in the workplace. Sessions are optional but those who attend find they complete faster.
Aims to provide the basic knowledge required and assessment for supervisors working with children 0 - 16 years in childcare, care and education (not playworkers or teaching assistants). You might be working in a pre-school, playgroup, nursery or be a childminder. For NVQ we provide 12 taught sessions plus monthly support sessions but assessment is mainly focused on proving competence in the workplace. Sessions are optional but those who attend find they complete faster.
For Managers of Early Years Settings. You must be working at a managerial level, managing staff. Ideally Level 3 is required except under exceptional circumstances. This is not a taught course, competence is assumed and you will be required to produce the evidence of competence with the help of your assessor. There will be monthly Support sessions which are optional.
